Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan Remembered at Emotional Services
A gathering took place at Hogan’s Hangout in Florida on Tuesday evening, where friends and family celebrated the life of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan. Earlier that day, Hogan was laid to rest in a private funeral service.
The funeral occurred at Indian Rocks Church in Largo. Hogan, who had lived a substantial life in the wrestling world, passed away just before the ceremony.
It was a private affair, attended by close friends and family. Notable figures from WWE, including Paul “Triple H” Levesque and former co-CEO Stephanie McMahon, were present. Other well-known personalities, such as Kid Rock and Bam Margera, were also seen at the service.
After the funeral, a procession led to Hogan’s restaurant in Clearwater, where the celebration of his life continued. Fans joined friends and family, highlighting the affection people held for Hogan.
A few celebrities, including Hogan’s lawyer Henry Holmes and sports agent Joe Mullins, mingled with the crowd. Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, and his wife, Skye, were also spotted among the attendees.
A notable presence at the funeral was Dennis Rodman, a five-time NBA champion, who had shared the ring with Hogan in the past. Following Hogan’s passing, Rodman had posted a tribute on social media, reminiscing about their time together in wrestling.
Interestingly, Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, chose to skip the funeral, opting to grieve in her own way. She expressed on social media that her father had disliked the idea of funerals, emphasizing her desire to remember him in a more personal manner.
Hogan died on July 24 due to a heart attack, marking the end of an era for a figure who had been integral to the wrestling world for decades. He was 71 years old and had faced health issues, including atrial fibrillation.
