Hulk Hogan’s Death and Family Struggles
Hulk Hogan’s turbulent relationship with his daughter, Brooke, took an “emotional toll” on him prior to his passing on Thursday morning.
The wrestling legend, known as Terry Borea, died after paramedics were summoned to his Clearwater, Florida home due to a cardiac arrest.
At 71, Hogan had experienced estrangement from his eldest child since his marriage to his third wife, Sky Daily, in September 2023—a wedding Brooke did not attend.
While Brooke has not fully articulated the reasons behind the rift, a source revealed to the Daily Mail that Hogan was convinced there was still hope for reconciliation.
“Their relationship had its strains, which came with significant emotional costs, but he always believed they could mend things,” the source shared.
According to TMZ, their last conversation occurred two weeks before Hogan’s wedding, during which Brooke expressed her love for him.
A representative for Brooke informed Page 6 that Hogan was very proud of her, noting that she would always be “his little girl.”
“I can’t believe he’s gone,” the representative admitted.
Brooke expressed gratitude for the opportunity to tell her father she loved him during their last talk, feeling comfortable and at peace knowing she had done everything possible to fix their relationship.
Efforts made by Brooke’s husband, Stephen Olexi, to bridge the gap in their relationship had sadly not succeeded before Hogan’s death.
Hogan was pronounced dead within 90 minutes of the paramedics arriving, and authorities confirmed there were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances.
