Sky Daily, the widow of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, recently expressed concerns about the spread of misinformation following his passing in Clearwater, Florida on Tuesday.
Hogan, who passed away from a heart attack at the age of 71 on July 24, had recently been at the center of family drama, which included his ex-wife Linda and their children, Brooke and Nick.
“There are some truly heartbreaking and misleading stories circulating, often from anonymous AI accounts or individuals who aren’t really in the know,” Sky, 46, shared in an Instagram post featuring a tribute video to the WWE Hall of Famer. “Please be patient and understand this—he was surrounded by love and care until the end.”
Sky did not specify any particular individuals or stories in her comments.
This statement followed Brooke’s appearance on “Bubba the Love Sponge” show, where she mentioned her father’s controversial past concerning a sex tape scandal, stating she felt intimidated by his will.
Brooke also expressed her desire to steer clear of “Scientology” and anything that felt destructive.
Hogan, born Terry Borea, had been subject to speculation about his health leading up to his death.
Reports had indicated that he was in intensive care for some time before he passed.
Hogan was taken to the hospital on July 24 after an ambulance was called due to “cardiac arrest.”
In an Instagram message the next day, Sky described his passing as “sudden.”
Previous health issues included leukemia and atrial fibrillation. The official report indicated that his death was due to natural causes.
As for the cremation, Sky mentioned it hasn’t taken place yet because the family is still seeking answers regarding his medical care.
“Terry opted for cremation, understanding that his physical life is temporary, while his spiritual essence is eternal,” she wrote. “We haven’t proceeded with it yet because our family wants clarity on his medical situation first. Once we find peace of mind, we’ll honor his wishes with love and respect.”
During his funeral, Sky described the day as one of the most beautiful experiences she’s had.
She shared that they gathered in the same church where they were married, filled with family, friends, and heartfelt stories that evoked both laughter and tears.
“The pastor prepared a moving video for the service, celebrating his strong Christian faith,” she added.
Brooke chose not to attend the funeral, opting instead for a private beach celebration with her husband Steve Oleski and their twins to pay tribute to her father.
“Dad disliked traditional funerals,” she noted on Instagram. “He didn’t want that. Though many feel sorrowful, I truly appreciate the celebrations held in his honor. As his daughter, I needed to find my own meaningful way to celebrate him.”
