Hundreds of suspected sex offenders taken into custody by the FBI and DOJ, announce Kash Patel and Pam Bondi.

Last week, a large-scale operation led to the arrest of over 200 individuals identified as child sex predators, as announced by Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel on Wednesday.

The initiative, dubbed “operational restoration,” resulted in 205 arrests and the rescue of 115 children nationwide. Bondi and Patel characterized this effort as both “historical” and “unprecedented,” combining resources from the Justice Department and the FBI.

Patel indicated that those facing charges include illegal immigrants from Mexico, along with state and D.C. police officers.

One notable case is that of State Trooper Jeremy Francis Pransky, who has been arrested for producing child exploitation materials while on duty. He could be facing at least 15 years in prison.

Additionally, Metropolitan Police Department Officer Lynwood Barnhill, a convicted sex offender, is accused of exploiting more victims, including children, during his supervised release. It’s alleged that he recruited kids for commercial sexual activities, profiting from their exploitation.

Bondi emphasized the severity of the situation in a press conference, promising harsh penalties for those convicted. “If you are targeting children, you won’t evade us. The FBI and the Department of Justice will pursue you,” she stated.

Patel mentioned that efforts involved federal agents from 55 offices, highlighting the success of their actions in saving lives and protecting vulnerable children from further harm.

He shared that the message of “operational restoration justice” reinforces a strong warning: harming American children will not go unnoticed, and there’s no place to hide.

Bondi also issued a warning to parents about the dangers of online predators, urging them to remain vigilant. “Your child has no right to privacy on the internet. Monitor their activities on social media and gaming platforms. Predators can easily target them,” she cautioned.

In sum, the crackdown serves as a reminder of the persistent threat posed by these predators and the collective effort needed to safeguard children.
