Hunter Biden describes Kamala Harris' campaign memoir as 'emotionally difficult'

Hunter Biden Expresses Disappointment Over Kamala Harris’ Memoir

Hunter Biden, the former president’s son, shared his feelings on Monday regarding Kamala Harris’ recent campaign memoir, expressing he is quite “disappointed” in her work.

In a conversation with journalist Tommy Christopher, Biden mentioned he hasn’t actually read the book but felt betrayed by what he’s heard. He specifically pointed out that he believes Harris has strayed from loyalty to Joe Biden, his father.

“I don’t know, it’s just painful for me on a personal level,” he remarked. “There’s a sense of personal loyalty I feel, especially towards folks like the vice president.”

Biden also criticized Harris for what he perceived as an attempt to distance herself from her past experiences. He questioned her motives in the memoir, suggesting that the vice president has continually faced criticism for not being authentic.

He accused her of “taking both sides” in her writing and implied that she should have counseled the former president to withdraw from the presidential race earlier.

Despite his criticisms, Biden acknowledged Harris’ “incredible history” and suggested that under different circumstances, he would have been pleased to vote for her as president.

Biden concluded by saying he loves what she historically represented and appreciates Joe Biden’s decision to choose her as a running mate. However, he remains confused by Harris’s seemingly tactical approach regarding their relationship.

Harris’ office has not provided a comment on Hunter Biden’s remarks.

The memoir, titled “107 Days,” reflects on her brief campaign and is currently drawing attention as she promotes it. Reviews of her tour have been mixed among liberal critics.
