Hunter Biden Faces Renewed Paternity Lawsuit

Hunter Biden’s former defendant has revived a paternity lawsuit from 2019 in Arkansas, alleging that he has fallen behind on child support payments and has “ghosted” his daughter, Marine Joan Roberts.

A recent motion filed on Tuesday states that Biden had previously agreed to provide his daughter with a number of paintings crafted by her, which she personally selected. This decision was made with the belief that the artwork could be valuable, given his public profile. It seems he hoped this gesture would help build a connection over their mutual appreciation for art.

There was a moment during one deposition where Roberts surprised everyone by appearing unexpectedly. It seems that this simple act—her child’s creation presented to Biden—moved him to tears, reinforcing their bond through their shared passion for art.

The filings indicate that the arrangement brought happiness, as the child yearned for a relationship with her father. In fact, she apparently expressed a desire to be with him in heaven because he was, as she put it, “very busy” and didn’t see her often.

However, the relationship reportedly changed after Roberts authored a memoir in 2024, which didn’t speak negatively of him. She now suspects that his feelings might be a tactic to lower his child support obligations.

The motion further asserts that while Biden claims to care for his daughter, she feels disheartened to learn that he didn’t include her in significant family events, like his wedding. Though he has three older children from his first marriage, the motion highlights that his absence has been notable.

Interestingly, the child has made efforts to defend her grandfather, former President Joe Biden, against bullies. Yet despite supposed attempts at communication, the motion claims Hunter Biden has often ignored her and her mother’s outreach.

Although Biden sent her some paintings, it appears she was not able to choose them personally, which was part of their previous agreement regarding child support.

The motion is now asking the court to enforce communication between Biden and his children and suggests a civil penalty if he fails to comply.

While it’s mentioned that Biden’s other children live quite comfortably, the motion argues that he should provide at least a comparable level of support to his daughter.

Biden had initially denied paternity until a court mandated a DNA test in 2019. Additionally, he faced a felony conviction for illegal gun possession last year, though he was pardoned by his father shortly before leaving office.

Legal representatives are awaiting comments from Biden’s attorney regarding this ongoing situation.
