Hunter Biden Expresses Discomfort Over UFC Event at White House
Hunter Biden shared his thoughts on social media regarding the UFC Freedom 250 event, which he found quite uncomfortable. He even offered to engage in a cage fight with Donald Trump Jr.
On Thursday, he reached out to podcaster Joe Rogan, stating, “Dear Joe, I wish I could sit down face to face with you and explain to you why so many of us were upset about the UFC fight on the South Lawn of the White House.”
He emphasized that his concerns weren’t about the UFC or its participants, acknowledging the brand’s success story. “More power to you,” he said. “Anyone brave enough to fight for everything in the arena is remarkable.”
However, Hunter expressed a deeper issue; he feels certain public spaces hold special significance. “The White House isn’t owned by Donald Trump or any president. It’s meant for the people,” he added, criticizing the event’s portrayal, comparing it to how Caesar treated the Colosseum. “This is not Rome. The president isn’t an emperor dishing out entertainment.”
He articulated that the event signified “imperial domination, not a celebration of our democratic foundation,” insisting that the president is merely a caretaker, not a ruler.
In conclusion, he stated, with a hint of humor, “With all due respect, a cage match with Don Jr.? Call me, just not on the South Lawn.”
Interestingly, while Hunter discussed the sanctity of public spaces, it’s notable that a White House Pride event hosted by his father earlier featured topless transgender activists.
This isn’t Hunter’s first mention of a potential fight with Donald Trump’s sons. As reported in April, he proclaimed he was “100 percent in” for a cage match against Don Jr. and Eric Trump.
Given Hunter’s complicated life, including debt and legal issues, it’s not clear where he would have imagined such a match taking place.
Hunter has faced various controversies, including allegations concerning his finances and his personal life. Reports also indicated that potential evidence related to him was previously suppressed by the Department of Justice.
Notably, discussions surrounding Hunter have led political figures to express concerns about his public comments. Democratic strategist James Carville pointed out that Hunter should “shut up” to avoid embarrassing his father.
While Hunter expressed his frustration regarding the UFC event, Don Jr. shared a contrasting view, describing the night as “incredible” and expressing enthusiastic appreciation for the intensity of the event.
