Hunter Biden Moves to Drop Lawsuit Against Rudy Giuliani

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abe Lowell, on Thursday filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit alleging that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani manipulated data found on Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell.”

FBI agent Erica Jensen, a witness at Hunter’s gun trial in June, testified in court that the laptop was genuine and that there had been “no tampering whatsoever” with the machine.

Jensen’s testimony rejected allegations that the data on the laptop was subject to “hacking” or “manipulation” or that it was a Russian disinformation operation intended to aid former President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign.

Lowell asked the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to dismiss the lawsuit against Giuliani and Robert Costello “without prejudice, with each party paying its own attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses.”

Giuliani’s lawyer, Joe Sibley, said the allegations are evidence that media and social media companies engaged in election interference during the 2020 election. New York Post An article about the laptop, now written by Breitbart News’ Emma Jo Morris, alleges hacking, disinformation and reports being hidden from the public.

Sibley Said of post In a statement:

This dismissal, combined with the conviction of Hunter Biden based on evidence from the laptop, serves as an exoneration for Giuliani and Costello, and for all media that broke the laptop story in 2020 and suffered systematic censorship by social media, the left-wing mainstream media, and others involved in election interference.

Shortly after Morris first reported the “laptop from hell” story in October 2020, CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand wrote an infamous, and now discredited, article. POLITICO The article used “dozens of former intelligence officials” to spread a false and misleading narrative about the origins of Hunter’s laptop.

President Joe Biden cited the story during a presidential debate with President Trump, discrediting the contents of the laptop, which was reportedly engineered by Secretary of State Antony Blinken for Biden to use during the debate.

CNN and many other media outlets POLITICO He believed the story to be true, but more than 500 days later he finally admitted that the story was a lie.

Fox News reports that none of the signatories to the infamous spy dossier, who called reports about Hunter’s laptop “Russian disinformation” ahead of the 2020 election, have retracted their fabricated claims.
