Hunter Biden’s trial date has been set.
The verdict will be handed down on November 13th.
This was after the presidential election.
The Washington Examiner reported:
Hunter Biden’s felony sentencing in his firearms case is scheduled for November 13th.
Biden made history in June when he became the first son of a sitting president to be convicted of three crimes related to a gun purchase in 2018. He was convicted of lying on federal paperwork about drug use in order to buy a gun, making false statements on federal records and illegally possessing a firearm for 11 days.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Wilmington, Delaware, to be sentenced on Wednesday, November 13, eight days after the presidential election.
The court documents setting the trial date included further procedural instructions, including when a pre-sentence report would be filed and how he would communicate with his probation officer.
He faces up to 25 years in prison on three charges.
On the three charges, he faces a combined maximum of 25 years in prison, plus a maximum fine of $250,000 and three years probation for each count, but because this is a first-time offender, Hunter Biden is unlikely to face the maximum sentence.
