Hunter Biden Calls for Increased Rhetoric from the Left

In recent interviews, Hunter Biden made it clear that he believes allies of the “leaderless” left should intensify their rhetoric, especially following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. This comes after President Biden commented, on the “Wide Awake Podcast,” that Kirk represented hate and should not be honored posthumously.

During a discussion with podcast host Joshua Rubin, Biden was asked if it was time for both sides to dial back their extreme language. Rubin questioned, “Do you think we should talk about cooling down completely on both sides?” Biden hesitated, saying he hadn’t observed people actively calling for a general reduction in extremism.

“Yes and no,” Biden replied. “That’s not going to happen, Josh.” He went on to explain that, in his view, the situation deserves a more intense dialogue. “We need to raise the temperature, and we need people to see it for what it is,” he stated.

Interestingly, Biden, who has his own legal troubles including past firearm charges and tax issues, remarked, “I’m going to get myself in trouble for saying this,” as he pushed for a more aggressive stance.

Recent polls indicate a concerning sentiment among the left, with some Democratic politicians seemingly endorsing or minimizing violence against political opponents. An April survey revealed that 55% of center-left respondents considered the assassination of Trump to be somewhat justified. Additionally, 28% of Democrats expressed a wish that Trump had been shot during a recent attempt on his life.

Biden’s perspective seems to diverge from a call for unity, instead leaning toward escalating tensions. He appeared to imply that political extremism lies predominantly on the right, questioning whether Kirk’s assassination was motivated by leftist beliefs and speculating about the ideological background of the assassin.

Despite rising concerns about left-wing violence, where incidents may be at their highest in three decades, Biden focused on the right as the primary source of extremism. He ended with a poignant statement about truth: “I want to get to the truth sooner rather than going through this slow process of just being dismembered and dying from thousands of cuts.” However, he clarified, “I am 100% not saying violence is necessary.”
