House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) announced to reporters Wednesday that Hunter Biden will testify publicly before Congress in the coming weeks.
Hunter previously refused to attend a private conference in December, insisting he would only testify in public. His chance will probably come true.

“I think this was a great affidavit for us,” Comer said of the affidavit.
“This verified some of the evidence we’ve had throughout this investigation,” he said. “However, there are also some contradictory statements that we believe require further consideration.”
“Therefore, this impeachment inquiry will proceed to the next stage, a public hearing,” Comer announced.
Hunter used careful language in his opening statement Wednesday ahead of the House impeachment inquiry, insisting that his business does not involve President Joe Biden, 81.
Notably, Hunter has not said that his father is not involved in the business. Rather, he claimed, “I did not involve my father in my business.”
