On Wednesday’s broadcast of FOX Business Network’s “Kudlow,” Peter Schweitzer, director of the Government Accountability Institute and senior contributor to Breitbart News, talked about his new book. Blood Money: Why those in power turn a blind eye while China kills Americans And he called Hunter Biden’s claims in Congressional testimony “laughable.”
Guest host David Assmann said, “Democrats said he debunked every email and text message. Why don’t we ask you one simple question? Both Hunter and James… I don’t think you bothered to answer, but that’s why foreign government companies end up giving you millions of dollars. What did you do for those companies?”
Schweitzer said, “No, you’re right, David. By the way, they kept sending money. They were going to send five million here. They were going to send another million there. Hunter. What Biden wants you to believe is that they continued to send money even though they got nothing in return. That’s laughable. There’s no legitimate business purpose he provided for this. There was no product. They brought no capital to the table. So it’s really a travesty.”
He added: “You could see, for example, funds being dispersed to Hunter Biden in a way that involves dealing with China, and that money going to his family.” The family does not perform any services for these Chinese companies. It would be foolish to suggest otherwise. The bottom line we have to remember is, I think Republicans have to remember this. American bribery laws are very clear. It doesn’t matter if Joe Biden makes a dime or not. When a family member is paid to do policy work in exchange for those funds, it is every bit as much a bribe as if they were themselves receiving the money. That’s the important thing here. So it doesn’t matter whether Joe Biden has money or not. ”
