Hunter Biden’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski has accused the president’s son of “running away” from the American people after he refused to appear at a Congressional hearing next week.

Hunter Biden declined an invitation from Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) to appear at a March 20 House Oversight Committee hearing. The hearing will give members of both parties the opportunity to ask questions about the influence-trafficking allegations and the Biden family’s business dealings. the lawyers said in a letter Wednesday.

“One week from today, on Wednesday, March 20th, I will be publicly testifying before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee,” Bobulinski told Fox News Digital. “I was disappointed to see the news today that Hunter is running away from the opportunity to tell the American people the truth. It’s giving you an opportunity.”

Bobulinski added, “Hunter, it’s time to step up, as you said you wanted to do. Don’t flinch in the face of responsibility and in this fight for truth and democracy!” Ta.

Bobulinski previously testified that President Biden “enabled” Hunter to sell access to America’s “most dangerous adversaries,” including China and Russia.

In a statement, Biden’s former business partner called for “truth and transparency” to prevail.

“Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, along with countless members of Congress, continue to claim they are ‘fighting for democracy.’ We do not agree as a nation to fight for truth. ” Bobulinski said. “Nearly three-quarters of Americans believe this country is heading in the wrong direction, and I can’t blame them. Truth and transparency will expose the corruption at the heart of our political system. and help us begin to fix what’s ailing us.”

“I am excited and pleased to have the opportunity to once again share the facts with the American people. I am deeply committed to putting the full truth before the American people,” he said. He called on the witnesses at the hearing, including: They will be subject to a false test that says “real-time results will be visible to the American public.”

Bobulinski also openly offered to appear before the committee for additional hearings whenever it was convenient for Hunter Biden.

“If March 20th is really not possible due to your multiple criminal charges, please specify a date and time. I would be happy to attend a second hearing for the American people.” I’ll give it to you,” he wrote.

In addition to Hunter Biden and Bobulinski, the House Oversight Committee has invited Devon Archer and Jason Galanis to testify at a hearing on March 20 at 10 a.m.

On Wednesday, Biden’s attorney Abby Lowell criticized the hearing as a “carnival sideshow.”

In a letter to Comer, Lowell said, “Even if the hearing was a legitimate exercise of Congressional power, Biden will have no personal right to do so because there will be a court hearing in California the next day.” I will not be able to attend,” he said. “But scheduling conflicts are the least of the problems.”

“The blatant event for the media is not proper proceedings and is a clear attempt to throw a Hail Mary pass after the game,” Rowell wrote.

“Mr. Biden declined the invitation to attend this carnival entertainment,” the lawyers concluded.

Comer responded Wednesday that his committee “determined Hunter Biden’s bluff.”

“Hunter Biden has said for months that he wanted a hearing, but he has refused to attend as it was proposed to him along with business associates he has worked with over the years.” ” Comer said.
