“As long as we knew this time was coming, there was no way to prepare. We miss him so much. A huge hole that we can never replace,” he said.

He meets a Secret Service dog after an intruder climbed the fence at the White House complex. After the intruder fought the dog, he meets the hurricane who took him to the ground. The swift action of the hurricane allowed agents to arrest intruders who came within 100 yards of the first couple.
He then retired two years later in 2016 after being injured during a heroic attack. According to Mirarchi, the intruders “made the hurricane really bad, but the hurricane never gave up.” The fence jumper left a hurricane with lower back injuries and swelling of the legs.
The Hurricane received numerous honors, including the US Secret Secret Service Award, Valor's Department of Homeland Security Award, People's Clinic for Sick Animals (PDSA) achievements, and the top dogs of the American Medical Center.
Belgian Marinoy also made history as the first dog to receive an animal with a distinguished service medal in war and peace, earning him a spot in the Guinness World Records book.
Hurricane and Miralkey have received the Valor Secretary Award from the Department of Homeland Security's Jean Johnson Bureau for their efforts to protect the Obama family.
