Charges Not Filed in Pool Drowning of Arizona Influencer’s Son

The husband of a TikTok influencer from Arizona will not face any charges following the tragic drowning of their 3-year-old son, Trigg. Emily Kisser had gone out with a friend, leaving her husband, Brady, at home with their two children, including a newborn.

On the day of the incident, Trigg was found unresponsive in their backyard pool in Chandler, Arizona, prompting emergency responders to act swiftly. According to fire department officials, police arrived first and initiated CPR, with firefighters taking over when they got there.

Brady reported to authorities that he looked away for about “3-5 minutes” before realizing Trigg was in the pool. Unfortunately, the young boy passed away six days later.

After the incident, the Chandler Police Department recommended that Brady face a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse. However, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office later decided against prosecuting, stating there was “no chance of a conviction.” They explained that proving such a charge requires demonstrating that someone failed to recognize a significant risk, which they felt was not applicable here.

The county attorney’s office emphasized that all cases are assessed based on the likelihood of a conviction, and this particular case did not meet that standard. A Class 4 felony in Arizona carries potential jail time but, theoretically, probation could be an option.

Emily, who has amassed around 4 million followers on TikTok for her lifestyle content, previously sought to prevent the release of investigation findings and records connected to her son’s death. It’s been a tough few months for the family, and navigating this situation cannot be easy for anyone involved.
