Hypnosis helps Jennifer Aniston overcome her fear of flying

Jennifer Aniston reveals how she overcomes the fear of flying as flight anxiety grows in recent aviation news.

In a recent interview with Travel + Leisurethe actress best known for her role as Rachel Green in “Friends,” loves to travel, but shared that she has “an extreme fear of flying.”

Aniston chased the small ritual while boarding the plane, slamming the outside of the plane with his right palm and stepping into the plane with his right foot.

However, the actress revealed that recent hypnosis therapy teaches her to stop those superstitions – and it has proven to be effective.

“I’m not doing my right hand, my right foot. And now it’s amazingly good!” she said.

Aniston shared that she practiced breathing tasks to get through the long flight, and rose from her seat to walk around and stretch.

“Connecting to a good meditation will help you pass,” she added.

Manhattan-based psychotherapist and author Jonathan Alpert commented on the use of hypnosis to relieve travel anxiety, saying he works with patients suffering from fear of flight.

“I don’t use hypnosis, but I know of successful therapists,” he shared with Fox News Digital.

“It’s important to note that it’s not a magic bullet, as some people might think.”

According to Alpert, addressing the roots of anxiety is more important to help you challenge “irrational thinking.”

“I tend to focus on behavioral techniques and cognitive strategies, a proven and practical way to help build confidence and eliminate anxiety,” he said.
