Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker said on a hot mic this week that he “doesn’t like where we are” when it comes to the current election season.
Pritzker made the statement while appearing at a political event reported by CBS News Chicago.
Leading Democratic politicians have largely refrained from calling for Joe Biden to resign. For example, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continued to staunchly support the president when pressed by reporters on Capitol Hill, as Breitbart News reported on Wednesday.
“With all due respect, I’m not talking to you or anybody else about what I’m talking about with the president,” Pelosi told ABC. Senior Congressional Correspondent Rachel Scott.
“Do you believe that?” Pelosi interjected. Scott said, “I never believe that.”
“Do you believe he waited that long?” Scott retorted, while a visibly upset Pelosi said in the hallway she would not comment on “the fate of our country.”
Scott pressed further, with Pelosi finally saying, “Am I speaking to you in English? I’m not going to make any statements about that in the hallway right now.”
