The never-ending feud between former President Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell flared up again over the weekend when the actress spread a conspiracy theory that the assassin's bullet missed Trump's ear during the assassination attempt.
Rosie shared her theory on TikTok and called for further investigation into the matter.
“I don't know what happened that day,” O'Donnell said, “but I don't think it was a bullet that hit him. I think it was probably some shrapnel, but I don't know. I don't see any scars, but there's blood everywhere.”
O'Donnell then questioned the famous photo of Trump raising his fist after the assassination attempt.
“If you look at the picture of him pumping his fist right afterwards, that's a normal reaction, right? That's the reaction you get when you're about to be assassinated,” she said. “There's something really fishy about this. I don't know what it is, but I'll say this: For all the people who go on and on about conspiracy theories and dig deep, why isn't this being digged deep? Why are people just saying, 'Look, his ears are fine now?'”
“He's not an octopus,” she continued. “He doesn't regenerate limbs, ears, noses. We don't regenerate, we're humans.”

Despite her speculation, FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate confirmed in late July that the former president had been shot in the ear.
“The FBI has absolutely no doubt as to whether former President Trump was hit by a gunshot wound to the ear. There is no room for doubt,” Abbate told Sen. John Kennedy (R-Louisiana), who was asked if Trump had been shot.
“Former President Trump was struck in the ear by a bullet that was either whole or fragmented,” the FBI said in a later statement.
No respectable media outlet or journalist, left or right, disputes this.
