A Florida suspect was arrested this week on suspicion of plotting to blow up the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), according to disturbing court documents obtained by FOX News Digital.
Harun Abdul Malik Yener, 30, was arrested on Wednesday and is suspected of intending to carry out a terrorist attack in New York City during the week of November 18th.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida announced Jenner's arrest Wednesday night, saying he was “charged with attempted criminal assault.”[ing] Using explosives to damage or destroy buildings used for interstate commerce. ”
Before being arrested, the suspect was unknowingly working with an undercover FBI agent.
To carry out the attack, the suspects told investigators to “procure the explosive elements for the explosive device, monitor the business, and obtain photos of the building to determine the exact location where the explosive device would be detonated.” commanded.
“Mr. Jenner intended to use a disguise as he placed the explosive device outside the store and recorded a message to the press informing him of the reason for the attack,” the U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday.
“Mr Jenner predicted that the impact of the explosion would be “similar to a small nuclear explosion.''[a]”Everything outside the building will be wiped out” and “everything inside the building will be killed.”
The FBI began monitoring the suspect in February 2024.
Court documents filed Wednesday say investigators were tipped off to find that Jenner “kept bomb-making blueprints in an unlocked storage room in Coral Springs, Florida.” has been done.
The FBI searched his unit in March and found electronic circuit boards, bomb-making sketches and several clocks with timers.
When agents interviewed Jenner, he said he considered joining ISIS in 2015 after receiving a recruitment offer from a self-proclaimed member.
However, he chose not to participate.
“Mr. Jenner stated that he decided not to join ISIS in 2015 because he believed that ISIS would ultimately be unable to achieve its objectives,” the document states.
The suspect then met with an undercover FBI agent who was believed to be a member of a paramilitary group.
In conversations with agents, Mr. Jenner revealed his plan to blow up the New York Stock Exchange during the week of November 18, 2024.
He said his goal is to “reboot” or “reset” the U.S. government.

Jenner subsequently had numerous interactions with undercover agents and confidential sources.
The suspect reportedly displayed alarming knowledge of terrorist activities and spoke of a desire to target civilian areas.
“Jenner discussed how bombing the power plant would cause a great deal of trouble to local governments and communities,” court documents state.
“Mr. Jenner discussed that if he was interested in creating a causal relationship, he might target Walmart instead of the power plant.”
“Mr Jenner told CS.'' [confidential source] If you want to minimize the damage to civilians, you could try to target Walmart at night when it's less crowded. ”
The FBI also discovered Jenner's YouTube channel, which was filled with videos “detailing how to make explosives and fireworks from household items.”
The channel also “shared multiple videos on how to make triggers related to traps and explosives.”
Jenner ultimately revealed that the NYSE was the ideal location, claiming that “a lot of people” would support the attack.
“There's one place that's very easy: the stock exchange. That's going to be a big hit,” Jenner said.
“A lot of people are going to support it. They're going to look at it and think, 'Hey, this guy makes sense, they do.' [profanity] It's robbing us. That's perfect. ”
The FBI also obtained a “statement of demand” that Jenner recorded on Nov. 12 and intended to send to NBC News on the same day or the day after a future bombing.
“At the time of UCE-1 [undercover FBI employee] Mr. Jenner gave him a microphone to record his remarks, and Mr. Jenner commented, “I feel like bin Laden,” the document said.
Court filings detail creepy messages Jenner recorded afterwards.
The suspect called the would-be terrorist army a “new revolution.”
“What you witnessed on the stock exchange and in California is just the beginning of a new era,” Jenner was quoted as saying.
“Watch out, if you raise your fist, we'll cut you down. If you kick us, we'll break your leg. If you speak ill of us, we'll cut out your tongue. If you don't want to stand up to us, we'll cut your tongue out.” , you will become a victim.”
