Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot admitted he was “shocked” by the wave of hatred he received after expressing his support for Israel.
The Israeli Peta Tikba star is one of the few Hollywood stars to speak out in support of Israel after the savage terrorist attacks on October 7, 2023, with more than 1,000 innocent civilians dead.
“I was shocked by the amount of hatred, the amount of people I think I know when I don't actually think about it, and the way the media is unfair over and over again. I saidaccording to Variety.
The backlash came as Gadot posted a message on social media after the attack in Israel, saying, “I should be standing with Israel too. When these horrifying and terrifying acts are happening, the world can't sit on the fence!”
Gadot has also continued his support for his hometown ever since.
snow white Starr added that she doesn't talk about politics in general, but that attacks on Israel were too important to ignore.
“After October 7th [2023]I don't talk about politics – who cares about celebrities talking about politics? I am an artist. I want to entertain people. Every time I say anything about the world, I want to bring hope and be a beacon of light,” she explained.
“But on October 7th,” she continued.
Gadot also said that she had to speak out, not about “hatred,” but as a Holocaust survivor and an eighth generation of Israel's grandson.
“I'm all about humanity,” she cried, “And I felt like I had to defend hostages,” Gadot said, “When your compass is clear, your conscience is clean. I know what I am defending.
“I wish everyone a better day,” Gadot explained. “I want everyone to have a good life, prosperity and the ability to raise children in a safe environment.”
Despite her pure intentions, protesters have overthrew her, and more recently she has been plagued by protesters who have confused Hollywood's fame ceremony.
