CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger said on “Anderson Cooper 360” Friday that he can’t wait for former President Donald Trump to be flushed down the toilet of history.
“So, this is a pattern for him and I guess in a way I feel sorry for him because he has absolutely no ability to understand and appreciate what sacrifice is, and I don’t mean that as a disrespectful criticism,” Kinzinger said.
He added: “So he clearly can’t comprehend calling people who give their lives for their country idiots and losers, and he’s clearly not capable of anything bigger than himself. [Miriam] Adelson is probably a great guy. I met her before, and he gave her the Medal of Freedom because she donated a lot of money to his campaign. That’s why he’s trying to get back in his good graces, and he’s willing to sacrifice the Medal of Honor to do so. It’s so disgusting. Honestly, I can’t wait to flush them down the toilet of history and never speak of Donald Trump again.”
