Lara Trump believes her father-in-law, President-elect Donald Trump, believes she is operating on a mission from God, not just the American people.
She talked about how he had been misjudged over the years and predicted that by the end of his second term, many would realize what they had been wrong about him.
“I think there's been a culture shift, honestly. I really think it's hard to see things like Trump's dance, like Donald Trump, being some kind of cool person, everything about him. He became really cool in the eyes of a lot of people in this country, when you look at the memes and the GIFs and all the other stuff,” Trump said of his father-in-law.
“And there's been a real cultural shift. You know, if you used to be a Democrat, you were kind of anti-establishment, you were kind of counterculture in a lot of ways,” she said. He said that the Republican Party is now its “brand.”
“And now it's very much a Republican brand, and that's partly because of Donald Trump himself,” she said. “I think a lot of people saw the election results on November 5th,” he said, noting that Trump not only won with 312 electoral votes, but also won the popular vote, along with every battleground state. He pointed out that he did.
“The mandate of the American people by popular vote is 312 electoral votes in every battleground state, and you can't think of anything else other than this country is here. This is the person the country is supporting. Yes, and what the people of this country want to see happen. They want to put Donald Trump back in the White House. And I think every time the culture changes in the way that we've seen, it's really been relatively new in the last year or so. It changed quickly,” she said.
“I think it's hard for these people to turn a blind eye and use the same old tricks. And look, these are smart people. Stupid people hate Donald Trump. , stay in the same zone where you're trying to fight him,” she said, adding that smart people “understand what's really going on and understand that if you want to be successful…you have to… “There is,” he explained. Get on board with Donald Trump. ”
“Because, frankly, the vast majority of the American people are totally aligned with Donald Trump,” she said, adding that many eventually woke up and rejected the false characterization of Trump as a narcissist. I predicted that I would find out that I was completely wrong.
“Let me tell you something: A narcissist would never personally experience everything this man had to go through. A narcissist would never attempt an assassination in their life. And even within millimeters of death, he will still continue to do everything this man has gone through – the attack on his home, the charges that are completely unjust and invalid in every way. That's what narcissists do. It’s not,” she said.
“This man understands that he was born for this moment, knows that his mission is to do what's right for this country, and always does what's right for all Americans. And I actually believe that the people who didn't vote for Donald Trump, Mike, are going to look back now and say, “Oh, this guy was wrong.'' think. Because it's 4 years later… [when] People will look at their lives, look at how much their lives have changed, and realize that the people chosen by the Cabinet, while certainly unconventional, are the right people for the job.” she said. “That's why Donald Trump chose them.”
“Donald Trump may have been portrayed incorrectly and so many people had the wrong view of this man. He fought for you guys, he fought for this country, he was right. He's going to continue to do what he knows because that's what I believe…and I actually think he believes this is a command from God,” Lara Trump revealed. “After losing my life again and coming so close to being saved, I started looking at things a little bit differently.”
“And I think that's exactly where he is,” she added.
