‘I View Trump as a Disease’

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's daughter Caroline Giuliani said on MSNBC's “Deadline” Friday that former President Donald Trump is like a “sick.”

Host Nicole Wallace said, “President Trump is blaming America for dividing families along fault lines where the most important and precious things, including one's own family and one's own safety, are threatened by the person one loves.'' “It kind of highlights how harmful it is.” Support the very person who threatens you. What do you think is the appeal of Trump, maybe it's just power, but why do you think a smart, accomplished man like your dad would choose Trump over the people and issues he loves? ?Your father, the first thing you said was that Trump is a person who has committed 34 felonies and that your father is known around the world as a prosecutor and law and order man, for better or for worse. It means that there is. He's fully collaborating with someone who is the complete opposite of his previous brand. ”

Giuliani said, “Well, it's a difficult phenomenon to understand. That's true. I think of Trump as a disease. And with any disease, prevention is a much more effective strategy than cure. And I think it's very important to remember that if we elect Trump again, we thought we were cured at first, but apparently we're not cured. If I become president, I think this country could suffer from a terminal illness, and that's really, really scary.”
