Trump said, “But I think I’ll be debating her in the near future, so who knows what’s going to happen… It’ll be announced pretty soon. But I think I’ll be debating her, and I want to watch it on Fox, by the way.”
Former President Trump said Wednesday that he plans to debate Vice President Harris in the near future, suggesting the two could reach an agreement after Trump pulled out of a scheduled ABC News debate.
“I’ve heard she’s kind of a nasty person, and she’s not great at debating,” Trump said on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends,” “But I think I’ll be debating her in the near future, so who knows what will happen.”
“It’ll be announced soon, but there will be a discussion about her. And by the way, I want to watch it on Fox,” the former president added.
Trump suggested other networks, including NBC and CBS, were also lobbying to host the event.
“I would love to debate her. I think it’s important for the country to debate,” the Republican candidate said. “As things stand, I fully support Ms. Fox. I think she’ll do a really good job. But we both have to agree.”
