Trump Receives Support from Huckabee Amid Middle East Tensions
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump expressed his appreciation for the backing he received from Israeli President Mike Huckabee, who highlighted the significance of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran in the region.
Huckabee conveyed his confidence in Trump’s “instincts,” suggesting that this might be one of the most critical challenges the U.S. president has confronted in decades. He noted, “I am your appointed servant in this land and available for you, but I trust your instincts, so I will not try to enter your presence frequently,” referring to the gravity of the situation since Truman’s era in 1945.
Moreover, Huckabee emphasized that while many might offer their counsel, ultimately, the decisions lay with Trump. As a former Baptist pastor, he shared a personal story about how God saved his life in Butler, Pennsylvania, asking rhetorically, “Will he become the most consequential president of the century?” He urged Trump to listen to divine guidance above all else.
“I believe you’ll hear from heaven, and that voice is much more important than mine or someone else’s,” Huckabee remarked, concluding his message by reaffirming his commitment to the President and the U.S.
He boldly stated, “I will not abandon this post. Our flag will not fall!”
Since recent attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, Trump has faced significant scrutiny from conservatives concerning his approach to the ongoing conflict with Iran and Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported striking an Iranian “nuclear target,” leading to casualties among Iranian officials and nuclear scientists.
As discussions unfold regarding America’s priorities in the Middle East, Trump asserted, “This means that America means a lot of great things, including the fact that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.”
Additionally, he made it clear earlier on Tuesday that he had not initiated contact with Iran, stating, “If they want to talk, they know how to get to me. They should have made a deal on the table – they’d saved a lot of lives!”
