The rodent-led eradication of the band is part of a broader makeover that Chuck E. Cheese CEO David McKillips described as “the most aggressive change yet.”
The disruption was accelerated by the pandemic, which caused many stores to temporarily close and the company to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2020, according to the Times.
