‘If People Don’t Like It, They Can Come After Me’

On FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegses opposed Democrats’ attacks on the media and Democratic leadership roles based on unsecured communications allegations through the signalling app.

Hegseth attributed the attack to undermining the agenda of the previous administration’s left.

“Mr. Secretary, you’re doing this job and coming in with a great background in your war,” said Brian Kilmeade. “Do you think a lot of people don’t want you there, and do you think there are some types of deep national strengths that you want to keep from staying there?”

“They’ve been following me since day one, just like they came after President Trump,” replied Heggs. “I got some of what President Trump got in that first period. What he endured is a superhuman. It’s not difficult to do this job. I know exactly why I’m here. I endure leaks to 100% operational control of our borders [and] To remove the military translunacy. It’s not back down. ”

“So a lot of people come to Washington, they just play the game, punch their tickets, get along and start ‘meeting’, go to the council of diplomatic relations and spend time with the crowds scattering new cocktails. That’s not why I’m here,” he continued. “Because I’m here, President Trump asked me to bring warfight back to the Pentagon every day. That’s our focus. And if people don’t like it, they can come behind me. I’m not worried. I’m standing here. Our enemies are behind us.
