If Trump Takes Over RNC, GOP Won’t Win House or Sentate

Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-S.C.) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that former President Donald Trump allowed supporters to head the Republican National Committee. If he did, he said, there would be no funds left to win power. It will pass the House and Senate in 2024.

Anchor John Karl said, “As you said, Trump is plotting to take over the Republican National Committee and wants to make his daughter-in-law co-chair.”

“So this should be a wake-up call to Republicans across this country,” Haley said. “I mean, look at the facts that we saw in his campaign report that he paid for his personal legal expenses while campaigning.” He used $50 million of the funds. He then tried to get the RNC to nominate him as the presumptive nominee. In America, we don’t anoint kings. So when he pushed back about that, They started playing it back.”

He added: “He is now trying to control the RNC by putting his daughter-in-law as co-chair and his campaign manager in charge of operations.” Now, looking at this, what worries me is that the RNC will become a piggy bank for Trump’s legal fees. The RNC is already on the verge of bankruptcy. Well, you go and find out that he is looking for another way to pay for his legal fees. If all he cares about is how to pay his legal fees, he could give up the money to win the House and Senate and win other elections. ”
