Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that if former President Donald Trump wins the election, Republicans “will go after abortion, contraception and IVF in every state in this country.”
“We need three things: We need access to abortion. We need access to contraception. We need access to in vitro fertilization. Republicans have blocked all three of those things. They’ve come up with a plan to not allow women to do those three things or to have access to those three things. Democrats are totally on board. If we take control of the House, the Senate and the White House, we can Roe v. Wade “It will once again become the law of the land. With Joe Biden as president instead of Donald Trump, we will be able to protect women as much as is humanly possible.”
She added: “Understand this, and I want to say this as clearly as I can, if Donald Trump is elected president, he and his radical Republicans will go after abortion, contraception, IVF in every state in this country. Not just red states, not just purple states. Every state in the country. They have laid out the blueprint, and they’re going after everyone.”
