The absurd warning came from Rob Reiner, a Hollywood star and Biden fundraiser, who used the Fourth of July to attack former President Donald Trump and, bizarrely, claim that this could be “the last Independence Day we have to retain our independence.”
Reiner made the laughable claim in a social media post on Thursday.
If a convicted criminal becomes president, this will be our last Independence Day to retain our independence.

Like many of Joe Biden’s most ardent supporters, he’s been feeling the pinch for a few days following his dismal performance in the presidential debate.
On Friday, the day after the event, Reiner acknowledged that the debate was a “disaster” for Biden, but also solidified his support for the incumbent president, insisting that Joe remains a “good and decent guy” who “cares” about his fellow Americans.
At least one account said Reiner was shouting during the debate, broadcast live on CNN, while Biden froze multiple times and had trouble completing sentences.
The filmmaker remains one of Biden’s biggest Hollywood fundraisers: He attended at least two Biden fundraisers since the debate, including one featuring Vice President Kamala Harris.
Last night’s debate was a disastrous defeat for President Biden. But the choice remains crystal clear. We can either choose a good, decent person who cares about the people and knows how to govern, or we can choose a convicted criminal who will destroy our democracy. It’s not a hard choice.

As Breitbart News reported, big Hollywood donors have begun turning their backs on Biden, telling Democrats they won’t donate to him if the 81-year-old continues in the campaign.
Among those calling for Biden to resign are Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings and Lost creator Damon Lindelof.
