Tiger Woods’ apparel brand “Sunday Red” launched its second line on Sunday, May 5th, and red items have finally been added.
Not surprisingly, they flew off the shelves.
Woods and Sunday Red teased “All Things Red” ahead of its release on Sunday. Within hours of the launch, various items from the collection have already sold out.
After the first collection, “The Hunt,” was released on Tuesday, fans complained about the lack of red items. But it didn’t take long to give people what they wanted.
The Delta PQ Polo is available in four color variations, with only the Black Small remaining.
The red polo shirt is probably the most iconic piece of golf clothing since Tiger came out.
He won 15 majors and 82 PGA Tour tournaments wearing some version of red.
The significance of his red polo shirt goes back to his mother. Woods appeared on the Today Show to talk about Sunday Red and explain why it is his color.
“My mom thought red was my power color when I was born a Capricorn,” Woods said. “In some of the junior golf events in So Cal, I wore red and won. Nevertheless, in other tournaments I wore blue and did not win. So I switched to red and found more success wearing red.”
The launch also included the first versions of the Sun Day Red mock neck polo shirts, the ‘Fermi Mock’ and the ‘3D Knit Mock’. The hats were also red and black.
All hats released in the Red Collection are also sold out. The Hinoki tour towel is also gone. The limited edition red, silver and black ball markers are no longer available.
The final collection on Sun Day Red’s website, “The Brave,” does not yet have a release date.
It looks like Tiger will be visiting Valhalla Golf Club for the PGA Championship, as the Sunday Red website lists Tiger’s attire this week. Woods was also granted a special exemption by the USGA in May to attend the 2024 U.S. Open at Pinehurst.
