Ilhan Omar's spouse angrily responds to reporter's questions following home search.

A reporter from Fox News Digital faced a pointed response from Tim Mynett, the husband of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), when he inquired about her current location.

The reporter pressed Mynett about circulating rumors that Omar had left the country following a search of their home on Monday, part of a probe into alleged immigration fraud.

‘My wife came here when she was 12 years old as a child war refugee. … No concerns.’

Mynett was spotted out walking their dog, Teddy, on Wednesday, yet he declined to comment on the issue.

The reporter asked, “There are rumors that the congresswoman left the country. Is that true?”

To which Mynett replied, “You guys are annoying the hell out of all the neighbors around here, man.”

The reporter reiterated, “I just wanted to get your response to everything that’s been going on, that’s all, and what the president’s saying about the net worth and the investigation. Just giving you a chance to respond.”

A video capturing this exchange was shared on social media.

President Donald Trump commented on Truth Social regarding allegations concerning discrepancies in Omar’s financial disclosures. Meanwhile, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro from D.C. revealed on Fox News that her office is investigating these financial claims.

Since the targeted raid by Homeland Security Investigations, Omar has not appeared publicly, fueling speculation that she might have left the country.

Previously, Mynett had defended Omar against claims about her allegedly marrying her brother for immigration purposes. He stated on Tuesday, “My wife came here when she was 12 years old as a child war refugee. No concerns.”

Omar addressed the raid through her social media, claiming the president was misusing his power to target opponents.

“I’m okay. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement,” she stated on Monday.

“For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns,” she wrote. “This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.”
