An illegal alien has been charged with assaulting a child in Marlboro, Massachusetts, after being released into the United States by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) led by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Mateusz Silva-Kerkovsi, 24, an illegal immigrant from Brazil, was the first crossed He was arrested by Border Patrol agents on October 22, 2021, at the U.S.-Mexico border near San Luis, Arizona.
Mr. Silva-Kerkovsy was taken into custody and immediately given a Notice to Appear (NTA) by a federal immigration judge, and was paroled and released into the interior of the United States on October 29, 2021.
By March of last year, a federal immigration judge ordered Silva-Kerkovsy to be deported from the United States. Despite this deportation order, Silva-Kerkovsy was not deported.
On August 9, Silva-Kerkovsy was arrested and charged by Hudson Police with two counts of assault on a child, including strangulation or suffocation. Silva-Kerkovsy was arraigned in Marlborough District Court.
On the same day, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ordered Silva-Kerkovsi into custody. A few days later, Marlborough authorities turned him over to ICE agents. He remains in ICE custody pending deportation from the United States.
“Mateusz Silva-Kerkovsy allegedly engaged in extremely violent acts toward injured children and poses a serious threat to the residents of Massachusetts,” ICE officer Patricia Hyde said in a statement. said. “We cannot allow threats like this to remain in our community.”
