Federal immigration officials said Monday that illegal foreigners in the Dominican Republic have been accused of killing a Massachusetts sub-shop owner.
Eric Dionida German Pena, Dominican citizens in the country are illegal held No bail following his arrest last Friday. The illegal alien has been accused of killing Iliad “Louis” Mablos, a 48-year-old sub-shop owner.
Mablos was found dead last Monday at his home in Lynn, Massachusetts, and reportedly killed during a home robbery, according to the US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE).
After the agency discovered it illegally entered the US in September 2022, Ice placed immigrant detention against Pena, Germany.
Linn police arrested Pena, Germany, last Wednesday and charged him with murder, but it remains unclear whether there is a motive for the murder.
“Eric Dionida Deutsche Pena will spend the day in court, but he is accused of a very serious and disturbing crime against members of our Massachusetts community,” Boston's acting field office director Patricia Hyde said in a statement.
“Ice Boston takes the public safety mission very seriously, so we submitted Lynn Police and immigrant detainees against him,” Hyde continued.
“The Massachusetts federal charges him of murder and, with the cooperation of Lynn District Court, intends to take him to ice custody once he pays the debts to society,” Hyde added. “Ice Boston continues our mission to arrest and eliminate terrible alien criminals from New England.”
