An illegal alien in Montgomery County, Texas, is accused of seriously injuring a 3-month-old infant and strangling the infant’s mother. The baby later died.
Melvin Jesús Aquino Enriquez, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant, was arrested. Paid On April 14th, a 3-month-old infant was hospitalized with serious injuries, and on April 17th, a 3-month-old infant was seriously injured.
The baby died from his wounds by April 21st. Enriquez could be charged with additional felonies in the baby’s death.
In addition to being arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for the infant’s death, Enriquez was also arrested and charged last month with strangling the infant’s mother.
Police do not yet know what Enriquez’s relationship is with the baby and the baby’s mother.
Enriquez is being held in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Montgomery County Jail on $750,000 bail.
