An illegal alien charged in connection with the death of a 3-month-old infant was deported under former President Donald Trump, a report details.
Melvin Jesús Aquino Enriquez, 26, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was charged with serious bodily injury to a 3-month-old infant on April 14, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Breitbart reported that he was arrested and charged on the same day. The news reported.
The infant ultimately succumbed to his injuries on April 21st. In addition to contributing to the infant’s death, Enriquez is also charged with strangling the infant’s mother.
Currently an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) employee To tell Fox News Digital reported that Enriquez was deported from the United States in late 2020 during the Trump administration.
ICE officials said agents encountered Enriquez in March 2020 after he was arrested and charged with trespassing in Harris County, Texas. Enriquez was taken into custody and turned over to ICE officials on April 28, 2020.
In September 2020, a federal immigration judge ordered Enriquez to be deported from the United States, and he was returned to Mexico the same month.
Shortly after being deported, Enriquez illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border again and resettled in Montgomery County, Texas. He has since been placed in ICE custody and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $750,000 bail.
