Illegal Arrested at Capitol with Machete Was Freed into U.S. by Biden DHS

On October 5, 2023, Marquez checked in with ICE officers in Washington, D.C., and was issued a Notice to Appear (NTA) by a federal immigration judge much later.

After Mr. Marquez was arrested by Capitol Police, ICE agents filed a detention motion seeking Mr. Marquez's custody. U.S. Marshals immediately transferred Marquez to ICE custody, where he remains in custody.
