Joined by Congressman Barry Moore (R-AL) Breitbart News Daily to discuss the bill passed by the House on Wednesday that would force the deportation of illegal aliens who commit drunk driving, and the ongoing battle to create a border bill.
“When we catch illegal aliens and criminal aliens here in this country, all they do is drink and drive, and a lot of times we just leave them alone,” Moore told host Mike Slater. he said. “So we said we would give local law enforcement and judges the power to deport them and make them inadmissible to re-enter the country. I think it will.”
“More and more people are pouring across the southern border, and they’re driving cars, and in some cases they don’t have a license, well, most of the time they don’t have a license. And they certainly don’t have a license ‘always have insurance,”’ Moore said of the many illegal aliens who drink and drive.
“If it were you and me, your insurance would be terminated and your driver’s license probably revoked,” he said. “We needed some kind of system where we could at least say these people need to go.”
“I can’t think of a more common-sense bill,” Slater said.
Moore outlined the arguments of Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), who leads the opposition Democratic Party. “‘Well, what would you do if you were just sitting in your driveway and you happened to be intoxicated and your car was…’ I just don’t believe this,” Moore said.
He continued: [Pramilla] Jayapal (D-Wash.) stood up and tried to say this, “Probably one-half to one-tenth percent of the people who might be sitting in the driveway drunk are here illegally at any given time.” They were there, they had beer in their car, they had their keys in the ignition, and you know, they weren’t going out and driving or drinking, so why deport them? Is there any?” They don’t want any accountability on that side. ”
“I was surprised that 150 votes were against it, but I was also shocked that 59 votes were for it.”
Moore said border security is the biggest issue facing our country right now. “My fellow Americans, it doesn’t matter your race, your party, or your political ideology. As you know, our southern border is at stake and our country is being invaded. This is an election year, so… [the bill] It puts a lot of pressure on them. But there were still 100 people who just said, “No, we’re not going to hold anyone but conservative Americans accountable.” ”

He also detailed other examples of how Democratic policies discriminate against Americans. “What happens to the guys who beat up this police officer the other day and were released without bail in New York? I was flipping the bird over.
“Hey, we’ve got a problem. These people are coming in breaking our laws, they’re above our laws now. And they’re basically, you know, 10 million I now believe there is. Alabama’s total population is only 5 million people. Joe Biden magically replaced my state’s population in just 30 months.”
Mr. Slater discussed Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) saying that opposing the Biden border deal, the details of which have not yet been announced, was a dereliction of duty as a lawmaker.
“My unacceptable dereliction of duty is funding. [Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro] Mr. Mayorkas is undergoing impeachment proceedings,” Mr. Moore responded. “He’s not going to do anything with the money we give them on the border.”
He added: “You can’t trust this administration by giving them more money. Biden, like Trump, has everything he needs to close the border from day one.
Moore added, “We can solve the border problem. Biden doesn’t need more money. He doesn’t need another law. He just needs an excuse, and we should give him one. isn’t it.”
