Illinois ‘supermayor’ under fire for $85K concert

Tiffany Henyard, the self-described “super mayor” of a Chicago suburb, has come under fire after she threw an $85,000 party last month for R&B singer Kiki Wyatt and rapper J. Holiday, but media reports said almost no one showed up.

Mayor Henyard of Dalton, Illinois, has been heavily criticized for spending taxpayer money on first-class travel and concerts.

“It was a mistake,” former Dolton trustee Valeria Stubbs, who attended the mini-concert herself at the “Taste of Thorton Township” event, told WGN-TV.
