MSNBC commentator Donny Deutsch said on “Deadline” Monday that he’s in love with Vice President Kamala Harris after she spoke to his campaign staff.
Deutsch said, “It was incredible. Her eye was sparkling, she was light on her step, and as vice president, you can’t let your guard down. You have a man above you and you don’t want to overshadow him. So this was quite a coming out. When she said, ‘Donald Trump, I know your type,’ I got chills. I thought, she’s going to prosecute this. And she only mentioned the abortion issue once, and it wasn’t a big part of the speech, but this is going to be a big part.”
He added, “I said this before on my show: A woman is going to save this country. We have a choice: attacks on women, attacks on women’s bodies and freedoms, or the first female president. And I think a woman is going to steer the ship. And I was blown away. I just kind of fell in love with her. I thought she was smart and attractive. Funny and spunky and twinkly-eyed and punches you in the gut. I mean, everything you want. I just thought she was a great, great opening act.”
