Florida Man’s Viral Video Sparks Epstein Conspiracy Theories

A man in Florida has unexpectedly found himself at the center of a bizarre conspiracy theory involving Jeffrey Epstein after a video featuring him cruising in a convertible became hugely popular online.

This silver-haired stranger, who now goes by “Palm Beach Pete,” was filmed driving on a Florida highway. In the footage, the person recording shouted claims that he was a pedophile living in the area—suggesting, rather shockingly, that Epstein is somehow still alive. “Epstein is alive! Epstein is alive!” they yelled, sending social media into a frenzy.

The driver recounted how his phone blew up with notifications after what he described as “some random guy” snapped photos of him without his knowledge while he was driving along Interstate 95. “I thought it was all just a weird coincidence at first,” he said, adding that he became quite the “viral sensation” with a million likes on his Instagram post.

“I’m not Jeffrey Epstein. I’m Palm Beach Pete!” he insisted in his response to the chaos.

Despite his claims, many social media users noted how strikingly similar he looks to Epstein, leading to humorous suggestions—like one commenter saying, “Must take this all the time. Time to grow a beard.” Others went so far as to claim that Epstein had orchestrated some sort of comeback to Florida.

Yet a portion of the commentary took a darker turn, with some people questioning the official narrative surrounding Epstein’s death. The disgraced financier passed away in a Manhattan prison in 2019, a death ruled a suicide, though many in the public remain skeptical of this conclusion.

As the debate rages on, the U.S. Department of Justice has been releasing files pertaining to Epstein, pressured by lawmakers and legal directives for broader transparency. Unfortunately, not all of these documents are fully available, leaving many questions—and wild theories—unanswered.
