Colorado State Police released damning footage of an officer confronting a suspect in a bathroom after authorities responded to a call of a robbery in progress early Thursday morning.
Lakewood Police Department officers descended on the property around 4 a.m. after an early morning alarm and used a drone to help track down the suspect, sources said. Facebook post from the department.
Body camera footage shows heavily armed officers pushing open an interior door to reveal a male suspect sitting on the toilet.
“I’m in danger, bud,” the suspect said quietly, raising his hands.
The wild video shows the man then standing up with his hands up and his pants still down, complying with officers’ commands to surrender.

“We have seen many things in horrifying events, but this time we had no idea what was in store for us!” the ministry wrote in a cheeky post.
The suspect was taken to jail on a charge of second-degree robbery, police said.
“You know the old saying, ‘You’ll get caught with your pants down?'” Someone should have notified this robbery suspect, who was arrested by Lakewood police early this morning, the department said.
