Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said Tuesday on CNN International’s “Race Situation” that President Joe Biden is “a patriot first and a partisan second.” He said he would vote for.
“I’m a lifelong Republican. I’ve been in the Mitt Romney and Bush community of Republicans,” Scaramucci said.
Asked why he’s voting for Biden, Scaramucci said, “I think there’s a rematch, and I’m a patriot first and a partisan second.” So I’m going to support democratic institutions and checks and balances in the system, and I’m going to talk about tyranny, being a dictator for a day, and using the Justice Department to persecute political opponents. Not a person. . He also talked about stripping FCC licenses from companies that don’t necessarily share his political views.
He added, “So I think we need to take these things seriously at this point. There’s going to be a lot of discussion surrounding the riots and election interference cases. In the coming months, I think we need to take these things seriously. I think we’re going to see a president and his team that have a huge disregard for democracy.
Scaramucci added, “This democracy is what has made your family and my family incredibly successful in this country. And I think we have to look at it that way. , as a result, I will support President Biden. I will raise funds for him, provide him with advocacy in the media, and take the necessary steps to ensure that he is re-elected as president. By the way: It’s not that he needs my help, mainly because Trump hasn’t been able to expand his support base, so he will easily win this race.”
