India Engaged in Battle Against Terrorists Following Pahalgam Attack, Describes Them as Lowlifes and Subhuman Monsters

India’s Stance on Terrorism Post-Pahargam Attack

India is steadfast in its fight against terrorism, emphasizing its commitment to justice for victims of attacks like the one in Pahargam. In an interview with CNN, Kwatra described the April 22 attack as notably brutal, referring to those responsible as “low riff, subhuman monsters.” He asserted that no one should let such terrorists escape accountability.

Kwatra underlined India’s determination to bring justice, stating, “We are at war with terrorists,” and mentioned that the nation took decisive action by launching Operation Sindoah on May 7. This operation targeted nine terrorist facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, responding to the tragic loss of 26 civilians.

“Terrorists won’t get a free pass,” Kwatra emphasized, pointing out that the attack involved four terrorists backed by Pakistan. He noted that India has executed precise and measured responses aimed at dismantling these terrorist operations.

Echoing support from the international community, Kwatra stated that many lawmakers agree India has a duty to hold these terrorists accountable for their actions. He referred to the Pahargam incident as a turning point, where terrorists targeted civilians based on their religion, specifically attacking non-Muslims.

In addressing the recent explosion in Kashmir, Kwatra accused Pakistan of siding with the terrorists instead of taking corrective measures. “Their support sends a troubling message to the world,” he said, indicating Pakistan’s persistent backing of terrorist acts against innocents.

Kwatra remarked on Pakistan’s typical strategy of denial when confronted with its role in terror acts. He expressed skepticism about Pakistan’s sincerity in any future accountability, suggesting that they often evade responsibility.

When the topic turned to the potential for escalating tensions between India and Pakistan leading to nuclear conflict, Kwatra urged that the global focus should be on Pakistan’s ongoing support for terrorism, implying that this is a more pressing concern than any perceived threats of nuclear escalation.
