The Indiana couple reportedly had to zip their 10-year-old son as a form of horrifying punishment and face the wall for hours.
Muncie's parents Melody, 38, and Adam Greenwood, 36, were accused of neglecting their child, “nutritically” ignored the boy, and only tinned vegetables as his seven brothers stinked fast food and sweets. Star Press.
Each Greenwood was charged with multiple counts of ignoring an addiction, the outlet reported.
Police have begun examining the couple after a “very slender” child was taken to IU Healthball Memorial Hospital in Muncie for the exam this week.
Medical experts reported alleged abuse to police and noted that the scars on the boy's wrist were caused by a zip tie.
Investigators learned from both the juvenile and seven other children that he was chosen by his parents for abuse.
According to the outlet, the boy's parents simply tinned him, and the snacks were “grounded.”

The boy, who was forced to stand in place for up to 12 hours as his punishment, told officers that his brother was instructed to “beat him” if he spoke or left the wall.
The Indiana Department of Children's Services is also investigating the allegations.
Melody Greenwood, charged with three negligence, was released after posting a $15,000 bond, while Adam Greenwood, charged with two counts, was released with a $10,000 bond.
The post was unable to reach Greenwoods on Saturday due to comments.
