Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson enjoys sharing a division with C.J. Stroud

When it comes to sports, many people often say they want to compete with the best players.

Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand that. There’s something satisfying about taking what people say is the best. Because that’s what makes you the best. All about transitive properties and jazz.

However, when it comes to things like your department, you’re going to miss me about all that stuff. People can say they want to have fierce competition all year long, but you know what’s easier than that? They are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs every year.

Obviously nothing is guaranteed in the world of sports, but I think the general idea here is pretty clear. This is what I discussed with indianapolis colts QB Anthony Richardson, thanks to our friends at Panini, I had a chance to talk to him over the weekend. You can watch our conversation below from the Blogging The Boys YouTube channel.

Richardson and I talked about a variety of topics, including how much he was looking forward to the 2024 season, when he said, houston texans Quarterback CJ Stroud was hopeless.

Stroud won Offensive Rookie of the Year. There’s zero debate about it. He was clearly the best.

However, I’m not saying that Anthony Richardson absolutely would have won if he had played all season, but in the world of sports, such questions are completely and completely fair game. When I asked Anthony if he felt that way, he said he has a lot of respect for Stroud and is happy for him, but as a competitor, whenever you have control over something like that, you always do what’s best for you. I said that I feel that there is.

It will be a lot of fun to watch the AFC South battle these two (and Trevor Lawrence!) for years to come. These are good times. Hooray.

Thank you Anthony Richardson and Panini.
