Infamous stop-and-frisk judge Shira Scheindlin overstepped her bounds in legal saga with the Ramones, ex-manager claims

The infamous Manhattan judge turned the arbitrator and crossed her boundaries in a long legal battle over the Ramones, argued by the former business manager of the iconic punk band.

Shira Scheindlin – in 2013, Stop and Frisk was unconstitutional and was later kicked out of the case by the Court of Appeals for fairness – was “risky” through the dispute between guitarist Johnny Ramone's widow Linda Cummings It is said that he has shown no inappropriate behavior. According to court documents, Ramone and singer Joey Ramone's brothers go through the stage name, named Mickey Lee.

Frey violated the terms of the RPI contract when he failed to present a contract for a potential Netflix film, “Joey Ramone: Sleeping with Memoirs of the Punk Rock Family.”

The band, whose four founding members were originally from Queens, took decades to achieve commercial success with their April-April 1976 debut. It turned out to be gold 38 years after my debut.

Earlier this year, Frey sued Cummings Ramon for defamation after accusing her of threatening to leak her sex tapes before.

“Judge Sheindlin has crossed her boundaries and stripped her of jurisdiction over issues she lacks authority to decide,” Frey's lawyers attempt to vacate her decision, saying she “often defended her.” “Screams in person attorneys,” he argued in a January submission, urging him to criticize him.

The transcripts included in the court records show that Scheindlin did not provide Frey's attorney with evidence in advance and disciplined him to drag the proceedings out.

“MS. Scheindlin was not authorized to override RPI consent to put I to sleep in the Joey Ramone film,” says spokesman Owen Stone.

Scheindlin did not return a request for comment.
