Tragic Death of Influencer in Car Accident
A 22-year-old social media influencer and model has tragically passed away in a devastating car accident in New Jersey. The incident also claimed the life of her passenger, as confirmed by local authorities.
According to New Jersey State Police, around 11 p.m. on Sunday, Teysia J. Toledo, who was known online as Aysia J, was driving her BMW on Route 55 in Deptford Township. The vehicle reportedly “lost control,” rolled over, and struck a tree.
Both Toledo and her passenger, Henrietta Carter, also 22, did not survive the crash, while a third unidentified passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Toledo, who hailed from Bristol, Pennsylvania, had accumulated over 300,000 followers across platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where she identified herself as a television personality, content creator, and model.
Her family expressed their grief in an online fundraiser, stating, “Asia was deeply loved by her family, cherished by her closest friends, and respected by many in her community.” They spoke of her “vibrant personality” and mentioned that she was on the path to building an impressive future, contributing meaningfully while expanding her social media presence.
They added, “Asia’s light will never go out. She will live on forever through the memories, laughter, and love she shared with so many. Her journey here was too short, but her impact is deep, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.”
In her last Instagram post, shared just days before the accident, fans inundated the comments with messages of love and remembrance.
“Rest in peace, beauty,” wrote one follower, while another expressed their heartache: “The reef is so fragile it’s crazy why it’s here one day and gone the next. My heart breaks for her loved ones. She was such a sweet, bubbly, and funny girl.”
Interestingly, Toledo’s death occurred on the same day as the passing of fellow influencer Brianna Johnson, known as Dream Doll Brii, who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Florida. Brii was just 21 years old.
