Attempted Murder Charges Filed Against Former X Factor Contestant
Police have charged Carrington, a past contestant from X Factor, with attempted murder for allegedly running over influencer Claudia Gramm with his vehicle, leaving her with serious injuries.
Claudia, whose actual name is Claudia Zakrzewska, is currently fighting for her life after the incident outside the Inca nightclub in London on Sunday morning. Reports indicate that video footage captured a black Mercedes striking Claudia, leaving her pinned to the ground.
Authorities reported that the driver, a 29-year-old woman, was arrested on charges of attempted murder, dangerous driving, and driving under the influence. This driver has been identified as Carrington, a former X Factor contestant who turned influencer. It has also been noted that Carrington and Claudia had an argument outside the nightclub shortly before the event occurred.
The Metropolitan Police stated they arrived at the scene around 4:30 AM on Sunday in response to reports of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian. They confirmed a woman in her 30s was taken to the hospital in critical condition due to the accident.
Klaudiaglam boasts over 263,000 followers on Instagram, and she had posted a video of herself dressed up for the evening. Additionally, a man in his 50s was hospitalized with severe injuries, while a third woman received treatment for minor injuries.
DCI Alison Foxwell of the Southern Crime Branch expressed that their thoughts are with the victims and their families as the investigation continues. She remarked, “Although this incident happened early in the morning, nearby venues were still operating, and we suspect numerous people witnessed the incident.” Foxwell encouraged the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the investigation.
Carrington notably made it to the live finals of The X Factor in 2013 as part of the group Miss Dynamics.
