Intruder Shot by Pregnant Mom Protecting Her Baby

A new mother, as reported by her boyfriend, took drastic action to protect her infant by shooting an intruder after hiding the baby in a closet. Corey Jones, a 44-year-old custom car builder known as CJ on 32s, shared this incident that occurred near Chicago on August 15th, capturing the attention of his over one million YouTube subscribers.

At the time, his pregnant girlfriend, Liv, was home alone with their baby girl. When she heard someone break in, she took matters into her own hands. Jones recounted that Liv grabbed a gun and shot the unexpected visitor shortly after tucking the baby away upstairs.

Jones commented on Liv’s awareness of the situation, expressing her instinct to protect her child: “Liv knows what happened and what she had to do to protect her.” He noted that it was her first experience firing a weapon and added, “They broke in my crib, and you know, you know, the man behind the action. That’s what I’m going to say.”

The intruder, identified as Shelby Heard, 36, had a criminal history, having been convicted of robbery previously and was on parole since February. According to local reports, the police confirmed that “the suspect was unknown to the victims,” as stated by Police Sergeant Dwayne English. Heard was said to have been wearing gloves and possessed a driver’s license at the time.

Jones remarked on his emotional state during the incident, explaining that he felt a mixture of disbelief and urgency as the events unfolded. He then reflected about how this incident could affect their lives moving forward. “Yes, this is my home. I know what the yellow tape means. Yes, it’s the body of my home,” he stated, acknowledging the gravity of the situation.

Although Jones often portrays a lavish lifestyle with flashy cars and jewels, he recognizes the risks that come with it. “I know I’m a target, but it’s part of my lifestyle. It’s like what to do,” he indicated. In a follow-up video, he addressed those who criticize him for put his family at risk by showcasing his wealth. He declared, “The only people I think are bent are those who want me to have. I’m not bent.”

Jones concluded by asserting that he wouldn’t back away from the life he’s built, stating, “I’m not going to stop, give up everything I was working for and enter F-King Hiding.” Meanwhile, Sergeant English confirmed that evidence collected suggests Heard had intended to commit a robbery, though the motivations for targeting that particular house remain under investigation.
